2 1/2 Yards of Wide Backing Fabric required, but not included. Kit does not include thread, batting, or tools. NOTE: This is not a finished product. It is a boxed kit that includes the fabric, pattern, and template needed to make the coverlet.
The Jane Austen Coverlet Kit includes pattern, fabric, and acrylic template for quilt top and binding. Wide backing fabric is listed separately. Fabric featured is Jane Austen at Home. The coverlet is a reproduction of the one made by Jane, her sister Cassandra, and their mother. It is a medallion quilt with a large central motif cut as a diamond. This is surrounded by a 232 smaller diamonds and interconnected by spotted sashing. The outer border contains over 2500 smaller diamonds. The kit comes in a keepsake Jane Austen box. Finished coverlet size is approximately 80" x 100". Box size is 4" x 12" x 18". The backing fabric is the Wide Back Jane Austen at Home Accomplished Woman print, which measures 108".

Half a Yard up to One Yard: $3.75;
One and a Half Yards: $4.60;

First Class rates are based on weight, so it's cheaper to use USPS Priority Mail for purchases of more than 2 yards.
